On 19 August 2025, CDA Ahmad Fuad made a courtesy call on H.E Mohammed Foday Yumkella, Ambassador-Designate of Sierra Leone. Both sides discuss the ways to boost bilateral cooperation between both countries, as well as efforts to enhance coordination with regard to the Sierra Leone officials' participation in Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme (MTCP).
