On 20 June 2024, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. undertook a visit to the corporate headquarters of Guineenews.org in Kaloum, Conakry where he was received by Mr Amadou Tham Camara, the Director General of the said establishment. The visit provided first-hand information on the operations of the media outlet and also served as a platform for partnership between the Embassy and Guineenews.org. The establishment, which started its operation in 1997, remains one of the preferred website by Guineans for news updates.
