On 26 September 2025, the Embassy of Malaysia in Conakry hosted the 68th National Day and 62nd Malaysia Day celebration at Hotel Palm Camayenne. The event was attended by representatives from the Diplomatic Corps and the Government of the Republic of Guinea.
In his remarks, CDA a.i Mr. Ahmad Fuad highlighted the shared values of the two countries; of sovereignty, solidarity, and a steadfast belief in the cooperation among developing nations.
Guest of Honor, Ambassador Fangamou Boïna delivered a speech on behalf of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Guinea, H.E Dr. Morissanda Kouyate underscored that both countries enjoyed historic relations of friendship and cooperation based on mutual respect, South-South solidarity and a shared desire to promote sustainable development.
