On 4 March 2025, Chargé d’Affairs a.i received Mr Bakary Kanté who is the Senior Advisor to the Managing Director of Guinea’s Export Promotion Agency (AGUIPEX). The aim of the meeting was to deliberate on how both sides can enhance collaboration to boost trade activities between Malaysia and Guinea. Apart from that, the meeting served as a platform to discuss the 2nd Edition of The Malaysia-Guinea Trade Promotion Forum: 'Strengthening Partnership' which will be held in the coming months.
