On 16 September 2023, the Embassy of Malaysia Conakry hosted a reception to celebrate the 60th Malaysia Day at Primus Hotel Kaloum Conakry. The event was attended by members of the Diplomatic Corps, senior government officials, expatriates, fellow Malaysian, business community from trade and commercial sector, representatives from civil institutions and society leaders. To further celebrate the auspicious day, the Chargé d’ Affaires a.i., Dato' K. Saravanan officiated the ‘Malaysian Food Festival’ where the guest present was treated with sumptuous authentic Malaysian cuisines such as Nasi Lemak, Chicken satay, Chicken Rendang, Sayur Lodeh, Ikan Bakar, Roti John, Kangkung Belacan and deserts such as Kuih Seri Muka, Kuih Lapis, Sago Gula Melaka and Bubur Pulut Hitam.
