Malaysia will be hosting the International Conference on Blue Ocean Strategy "Transforming Nations through Creativity and Innovation" (ICBOS) at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre from 16-18 August 2016. The three-day conference will provide an opportunity for participants to share knowledge and ideas of how to inject creativity and innovation in the formulation of national policies and initiatives. In conjunction with the ICBOS, the Global Blue Ocean Awards (GBOA) will be awarded to highly creative and innovative initiatives around the world. Winners will be recognised in six (6) different categories, namely Entrepreneurship, Community Transformation, Women Empowerment, Volunteerism, Safety and Security, and Integrated Service Delivery along with an overall winner.
