TRAVEL ADVISORY TO EBOLA AFFECTED COUNTRIES IN AFRICA
Following the serious outbreak of Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) which brought about widespread epidemic in Western African region particularly in Sierra Leone, the Republic of Guinea and Liberia, Wisma Putra wishes to urge Malaysians to avoid travelling to these countries and exercise caution when travelling to other parts of the region.
However, for those who have to travel to the above mentioned countries, it is highly advisable to strictly adhere to the guidelines provided by the Ministry of Health in its recent press statements as a precautionary measure and to minimize the risk of infection. This advisory will be in force until further notice.
