First-ever passport day was held at the American International School of Zagreb on Friday, 23 January 2009.
The purpose was to introduce Malaysia to the students from ages 4 to 18 and the school community.
Mr. Shaharudin Abdul Ghani, spouse of the Ambassador made the presentation and showcased Malaysia’s games and food. Students were given quizzes on Malaysia and were awarded with Malaysian handicrafts, Gasing and Sepak Takraw ball. Participants also had an opportunity to taste Nasi Goreng and Mee Hoon Goreng.
