Official Visit to Primorsko-Goranska County

H.E. Ambassador Aminahtun Karim accompanied by her spouse, Mr Shaharudin Abdul Ghani made an official visit to the Primorkso-Goranska County on 15 and 16 April 2010 at the invitation of the County Prefect. They visited the city of Rijeka and had meetings with county officials as well as officials from the city hall. A meeting was also held with the Port of Rijeka authorities who briefed about the facilities of the port, ongoing projects and future expansion plans.

The Ambassador and spouse also visited the island of Krk and the towns of Omisalj and Njivice where she was hosted by the Head of Omisalj Municipality. A briefing was also given by Janaf d.d., the company responsible for Croatia’s Druzba-Adria oil pipeline and crude oil distribution network followed by a site visit to the company’s largest terminal located on the island. The Ambassador also attended the presentation of a book entitled “Malaysia – My Unforgettable Story’’ by Mrs. Zrinka Skarica, a Croatian who had resided in Malaysia for a number of years.
