On 19 January 2026, the Chargé d’Affaires ad interim (CDA a.i.) of the Embassy of Malaysia in Budapest paid a courtesy call on H.E. Jasna Lhotka, Minister Plenipotentiary and Head of the Department of Asia and Oceania, Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia. The meeting discussed matters of mutual interest between Malaysia and Slovenia, including bilateral trade and investment, as well as the proposed establishment of Bilateral Consultations between both countries.
