On 21 March 2013, H.E. Dato' Kamilan Maksom hosted dinner for a JAKIM delegation that is visiting the country to follow-up on the halal development. The delegation was also in Austria for a similar visit. The dinner was hosted at the Official Residence of the Ambassador.
The JAKIM delegation was headed by Mr. Baharudin Othman form the Halal Hun Division and accompanied by Mr. Mohamad Samir Sulaiman. The dinner was also attended by representatives from the Islamic Information and Documentation Centre (IIDZ) based in Vienna as well as the President of the Organization of Muslims in Hungary.
