The Embassies of ASEAN countries with residence in Budapest have attended the Harvest Festival in Tarcal City, Hungary.
The event was co-hosted by the Mayor of Tarcal and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Borsod-Abauj-Zemplen County.
Also invited were all Home-Based Staff and families of the Embassies together with the local media. It was indeed a fruitful and sweet gathering of the ASEAN families with wine tasting and grape harvesting. Guests were also invited to a traditional Hungarian breakfast and lunch during the event.
The local media also took the opportunity to interview Ambassador Cheong Loon Lai after his ‘impromptu’ speech during the opening of the event.
