Dr. Tiba Istvan, President of Hungary-Malaysia Parliamentary Friendship Association (HMPFA) kindly hosted Amb. Mohamad Sadik to lunch at the Hungarian Parliament today, 20 October 2015. This is their first meeting and Amb. Sadik took the opportunity to congratulate Dr. Tiba on his appointment as the Chairman of the recently established HMPFA. They exchanged views on the usefulness of the HMPFA in bridging closer working relations between the two Parliaments. Amb. Sadik also expressed hope that the HMPFA would plan visit to meet its counterpart in Malaysia in future. On his part, Dr. Tiba would like to further strengthen the bilateral relations between Hungary and Malaysia in particular inward investment from Malaysia as well as the bilateral trade and education.
