Ambassador Sadik paid a courtesy call on Mr. Peter Szijjarto, the new Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT) of Hungary on 1 July 2014. He was accompanied by Mrs. Maslina Ngah Mamud, Counsellor at the Embassy. Ambassador Sadik and Mr. Szijjarto exchanged views on the state of the bilateral relations and explored ways to elevate the economic and trade relations to a higher level. Mr. Szijjarto also conveyed Hungary's decision to reopen its Embassy in Malaysia towards the end of the year.
