Ambassador Mohamad Sadik presented his Letter of Credence and Letter of Recall of his predecessor to the President of the Republic of Hungary, His Excellency Mr. Janos Ader on 11 June 2014. The ceremony was held in the Hall of Mirrors at the Sandor Palace. After a private conversation in the Blue Salon with the President of the Republic, Ambassador Sadik signed the guest book in the Maria Theresa Room witnessed by senior officials from the Presidential Palace and the home based staff from the Embassy.
The Ambassador was then driven to the Heroes' Square for the wreath laying ceremony at the Monument of Hungarian Horses. Ambassador Sadik was accompanied by the Chief of Protocol throughout the ceremony, who later joined officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade to a reception at the Embassy. Ambassador was accompanied by Counselor, Ms. Maslina Ngah Mamud; Second Secretary, Mr. Sahharon Omar; Office Secretary, Ms. Nuridzhar Hamidon and Ambassador's daughter Ms. Nur Firzana during the ceremony.
