The Embassy of Malaysia in Budapest co-organised a seminar with Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) and Malaysia Palm Oil Board (MPOB) Brussels. The event was organised on 18 June 2013 at the Embassy of Malaysia with presentations by the MATRADE Marketing Officer, Ms. Csilla Nyerges and MPOB Europe Representative, Dr. Kalanithi Nesaretnam. Dato' Kamilan Maksom delivered the welcoming remarks.
The seminar was aimed at promoting Malaysia as a strategic partner for Hungarian businesses and promoting palm oil and its food application and nutritional benefits. The seminar was attended by 13 companies and organisations, including the Hungarian Entrepreneurs Association, the Union of Biomass Product Line (BITESZ) and the Hungarian Economic Development Foundation (MGFA).
