The Embassy of Malaysia in Budapest co-organized a seminar with Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) and Malaysia Rubber Export Promotion Council (MREPC) London. The event was organized on 15 April 2013 at the Embassy of Malaysia with presentation by the MATRADE Trade Commissioner, Ms. Nor Aida Wasir and Dr. Hafsah Mohd Ghazaly and Dr. Andy Chapman from the MREPC and Tun Abdul Razak Research Centre respectively. Ambassador of Malaysia to Hungary, Dato' Kamilan Maksom delivered the welcoming remarks.
The seminar was aimed at promoting Malaysia as a strategic partner for Hungarian businesses and the rubber industry in the country. It was well received by the 18 companies that participated in the event including the Hungarian Rubber Industry Association (MAGUSZ) and the Hungarian Young Entrepreneurs Association (FIVOSZ).
