Dato' Kamilan Maksom hosted a dinner at Official Residence of the Ambassador for a visiting BMW Motorrad Club Malaysia (MCM) on 22 June 2013. The group was led by the President of the BMW MCM, Mr. Minesh B. Doshi and Expedition Leader, Haji Mohd Assir. The BMW MCM was on the Garmisch-Partenkirchen Ride 2013, starting their journey on high powered BMW motocycle from Istanbul, Turkey to Garmisch, Germany.
The group of 37 people on 24 bikes stopped overnight in Budapest on 22 June 2013 and continued their ride to Salzburg, Austria on 23 June 2013.
