YAB Dato’ Seri DiRaja Dr. Zambry Abd Kader, Menteri Besar Perak led a delegation of 18 Senior State Officials for a working visit to Hungary recently. While in Budapest, the Perak delegation visited the Budapest Waterworks and tour the Wastewater Treatment Plant. The delegation also had an on-site witness of a Mobile Water Purification Unit that could be quickly deployed to provide safe drinking water to flood victims.
The delegation was later briefed on Hungary’s Flood Management Programme and this was followed by an interactive session with members of Danube River Commission. The visit albeit brief was a success and impactful. Ambassador Sadik hosted the Perak Delegation to dinner which was also attended by the Malaysian Community and students residing in Budapest.
