7 May 2026 : - The Consul General of Malaysia, Chennai Mr. K.Saravana Kumar, welcome Mr. Baalajeeram Dhuruvan Bhaskaran, who recently joined the Malaysian Palm Oil Council (MPOC) as Assistant Regional Manager for the South India Region. He made a courtesy call to The Consulate General of Malaysia in Chennai. The meeting was also attended by Mr. Wan Ahmad Tarmizi Wan Idris, The Consul (Trade) Consulate General of Malaysia (Trade Section) in Chennai .
The discussion focused on proposed engagements with MPOC, as well as efforts to further strengthen and promote palm oil trade between Malaysia and India.
