17 April 2026 :- The Consulate General of Malaysia, Chennai, in collaboration with Tourism Malaysia Chennai, successfully hosted the VMY 2026 Industry Briefing & Networking Dinner at The Leela Palace Chennai on April 16, 2026.
With over 200 esteemed industry leaders in attendance, the event brought together travel partners, airlines, media, and corporates—further strengthening Malaysia–India tourism ties like never before.
A key highlight of the evening was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Tourism Malaysia Chennai and Pick your trail South India, witnessed by Mr. K. Saravana Kumar, Consul General of Malaysia in Chennai.
