On 15 May 2026, Berlin - H.E. Ambassador Mohamad Razdan Jamil chaired an online inter-agency meeting involving the Consul General of Malaysia in Frankfurt and representatives from Malaysian agencies based in Frankfurt, namely MIDA, MATRADE, and Tourism Malaysia.
The meeting served as a platform to exchange updates and coordinate ongoing programmes and initiatives involving trade promotion, tourism, investment, and economic engagement in Germany. Discussions also focused on preparations for upcoming programmes throughout 2026, including efforts to further strengthen Malaysia’s economic and commercial presence in the German market.
The meeting further demonstrated the importance of continued coordination and information sharing among Malaysian agencies in Germany in ensuring a coherent and effective approach towards advancing Malaysia’s interests and enhancing bilateral cooperation with Germany.
