On 13 May 2026, Ambassador Mohamad Razdan Jamil held a discussion over dinner with representatives from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), namely Mr. Mohd Fadil Mohd Ariff, Chief (Business Planning, Marketing & Performance), and Mr. Zulkarnan Abdul, Director (Business Planning, Marketing & Performance).
The discussion focused on potential avenues for collaboration between UTP and German institutions, particularly in the fields of science, engineering, TVET and industry-driven academic programmes. Both sides exchanged views on opportunities to strengthen academic partnerships, research collaboration, talent development, and industry engagement involving Malaysian and German stakeholders.
The exchange reflected a shared interest in strengthening Malaysia–Germany cooperation in higher education, research, and innovation, while exploring opportunities to further expand institutional linkages between UTP and relevant German partners
