Attestation/Authentication of Documents

ATTESTATION / AUTHENTICATION OF DOCUMENTS

1. Documents such as Statutory Declarations, Certificates of Origin, Power of Attorney, School Certificates, Birth Certificates, etc. may requires authentication by the Consulate General of Malaysia for the use in India by Malaysians or to be used in Malaysia by foreign nationals.

2. Attestation or authentication of documents may be made at the Consulate General of Malaysia by bring the original and photocopies of the documents which have been first attested by the local notary, the Protocol Department of India’s Ministry of External Affairs or by the Protocol Department of India’s State Governments.

PAYMENT

1. Rs200.00 for each copy.
