CONSULATE GENERAL OF MALAYSIA IN MUMBAI VISITED JAWAHARLAL NEHRU PORT AUTHORITY (JNPA)
The officials of the Consulate General of Malaysia in Mumbai, led by the Consul General of Malaysia in Mumbai Mr. Ahmad Zuwairi Yusoff, visited the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) in Navi Mumbai on 20 November 2023, Monday. The main objective of the visit was to learn about the operation of JNPA as a premier container handling port in India, accounting for around 50% of the total containerised cargo volume across the major ports of India.
Apart from meeting with the Mr. Sanjay Sethi, Chairman of JNPA and the JNPA management team, the Malaysian Consulate has also visited the Central Parking Plaza (CPP), Special Economic Zone (SEZ) and other facilities located in the vicinity of the port. The programme was coordinated by MATRADE Mumbai Office and JNPA.
