On 28 December 2017, a meeting with Mr. Pravin Rane, Deputy Director of the Bombay Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) was held at the Consulate General of Malaysia. Both sides discussed the possible participation of Malaysian shipping and logistics companies in the upcoming 10th International Conference on Ports, Shipping and Logistics 2018.
