The High Commission of Malaysia participated in the 2nd ASEAN-India Blue Economy Workshop organized by the Ministry of External Affairs India and Research & Information System for Developing Countries (RIS) on 18 July 2018. The workshop focuses on the sustainable use of ocean resources for economic growth in ASEAN and India region, and highlighted the importance of maritime connectivity.
Two representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Malaysia attended the workshop, namely Dr Adina Kamarudin (Deputy Director General, Maritime Affairs Division) and Mr Nur Azman Abdul Rahim (Deputy Director General, ASEAN-Malaysia National Secretariat).
