On the evening of 20 February 2026, the High Commissioner of Malaysia to the Republic of India, H.E. Dato’ Muzafar Shah Mustafa, hosted a dinner at Rumah Malaysia in honour of YB Tuan Gobind Singh Deo, Minister of Digital of Malaysia.
YB Minister of Digital undertook a working visit in leading the Malaysian delegation to the AI Impact Summit from 18–20 February 2026, in New Delhi, India.
Malaysia’s participation in the Summit reflected the close and expanding cooperation between Malaysia and India in digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and innovation.
This momentum has been further strengthened by the establishment of the Malaysia–India Digital Council in January 2025, which serves as a dedicated platform to advance collaboration in the digital economy and emerging technologies between the two countries.
