The High Commission of Malaysia organized and hosted the inaugural ASEAN Futsal Tournament on 5 February 2017. All ASEAN countries, including a special team consisting of the ASEAN Heads of Missions participated in the tournament. After the competitive and entertaining matches, team Vietnam was crowned champion, with team Thailand claiming second place, and team Brunei-Cambodia-Laos coming in third place.
Congratulations once again to team Vietnam for winning the tournament, and our sincere appreciation for all ASEAN members for your participation and cooperation throughout the tournament.
