His Excellency Datuk Naimun Ashakli Mohammad, High Commissioner of Malaysia on 20 August 2015 hosted 10 Members of the International Association of Students in Economic and Commercial Sciences (AIESEC) Malaysian Chapter at the High Commission of Malaysia as part of the High Commission’s engagement with Malaysians in India. The delegation were here to attend the 67th AIESEC International Youth Congress which will take place from 21 August to 4 September 2015.
During the meeting, H.E Datuk High Commissioner took the oppurtunity to explain to the youths about the roles and functions of the High Commission and the efforts made in maintaining strong bilateral ties with India and other Missions in India aside from the few multilateral meetings that need to be attended by the High Commission as well as ensuring the welfare and wellbeing of fellow Malaysians in India are taken care of at all times. As the youth were also frequent travellers, H.E. Datuk High Commissioner also reminded the youths to inform and get in touch with the respective Malaysian Diplomatic Missions abroad as to register themselves.
The courtesy took place in a relax environment that saw the youths and the officials enjoyed the exchange of views during the call. At the requst of the group, the High Commission will also be assisting in providing tourism brochures and promotional items for the AIESEC Global Village Open Cultural Exhibition that will take place from 21 August 2015.
