The High Commission of Malaysia in New Delhi recently hosted a friendly badminton match with the Embassy of Vietnam on 9 October 2016. The Malaysian team was led by the High Commissioner of Malaysia to India, H.E. Datuk Naimun Ashakli Mohammad, while the Vietnamese team was led by its Ambassador, H.E. Ton Sinh Thanh.
Playing in the doubles format only (3 men’s, 1 women’s, 1 mixed), Malaysia won the overall match 4-1. The High Commission hope that more friendly games will be held with other ASEAN Missions in New Delhi.
