Malaysia Family Day
The High Commission of Malaysia, New Delhi celebrated the Malaysia Family Day on 6 April 2014. The social event saw the attendance of around 100 people comprising of Malaysians residing in New Delhi together with the families of the Locally Recruited Staff (LRS) of the High Commission. The objective of the event was to foster stronger and closer ties between the High Commission andthe Malaysian as well as local Indian community here.
The event was officiated by H.E Datuk Naimun Ashakli Mohammad, High Commissioner of Malaysia to India. Among the programmes that took place during the event include Bollywood Aerobics, games for children and volleyball for the adults. Towards the end of the event, guests were feted with a spread of Malaysian cuisine followed by a lucky draw session.
The event was a success that left many happy memories to all attendees.
