Malaysia Palm Oil Board had organised a Palm Oil Seminar at the National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM) at Sonepat, Haryana on 6 March 2018. H.E. Dato’ Hidayat Abdul Hamid, the High Commissioner of Malaysia to India was the Chief Guest at the Seminar.
Two presentations were made at the seminar, namely on palm oil versatility and functionality, as well as on health and nutritional attributes of palm oil. More than 200 post- and undergraduate students and 10 academics of NIFTEM had attended the seminar.
