The Minister of Works of Malaysia YB Dato’ Sri Haji Fadillah Haji Yusof undertook a working a visit to India on 12 – 16 October 2015. The Minister was accompanied by senior officials from the Ministry of Works and the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB), as well as a twenty five-member business delegation consisting of various Malaysian construction companies.
During the visit, various meetings and programmes were attended by YB Minister among them were the Minister’s meeting with his counterpart Minister of Road Transport and Highways India, H.E. Shri Nitin Gadkari as well as the Minister of Urban Development India, H.E. Shri Venkaiah Naidu and Minister of State for Commerce India, H.E. Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman. Additionally, YB Minister also had the oppurtunities to meet Chief Minister of Rajasthan as well as Minister of Finance of the State of West Bengal
YB Minister also had the opportunity to have a meet and greet session with the Malaysian business community in New Delhi namely representatives from UEM Group, Bhumi Highway Pvt Ltd, AirAsia India, Technip, and Petronas Lubricants (India) over dinner and also made a courtesy visit to the High Commission of Malaysia in New Delhi and met the Malaysian officials stationed in India as well as visited the ongoing reconstruction of the High Commission of Malaysia in New Delhi.
