Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Agro-based Industry, YB Dato’ Sri Hj Tajuddin bin Abdul Rahman undertook a Working Visit to New Delhi from 8 – 12 January 2018. As part of the visit, YB Deputy Minister met with Shri Suresh Prabhu (Minister of Commerce) to discuss strengthening of trade of agriculture commodities, including palm oil. Apart from the meeting, YB Deputy Minister also took the opportunity to engage the Agricultural and Processed Food Product Export Development Authority (APEDA), as well as to visit several dairy farms around Delhi. Another official engagement of YB Deputy Minister was participating in the ASEAN-India Ministerial Meeting on Agriculture and Forestry (AIMMAF).
Additionally, the High Commissioner of Malaysia to India, HE Dato’ Hidayat Abdul Hamid hosted a dinner in honour of YB Deputy Minister.
