The High Commission of Malaysia in New Delhi welcomed the visit of the Deputy Minister of Tourism, Arts & Culture, YB Muhammad Bakhtiar bin Wan Chik from 10 – 15 December 2018.
During the visit, the Deputy Minister made a Courtesy Call on the Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Culture and Environment, Forest & Climate Change, H.E. Dr. Mahesh Sharma; as well as the Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Tourism, H.E. K.J. Alphons. Both sides explored possible cooperation particularly in the area of cultural preservation.
In addition, the Deputy Minister visited several historical sites in New Delhi and Hyderabad, particularly preservation efforts under the ageis of the Aga Khan Trust for Culture (AKTC).
