Following the success of MIHAS 2008, Malaysia is once again set to host MIHAS 2009 from 6-10 May 2009 at the MATRADE Exhibition and Conference Centre (MECC), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
MIHAS is the world's largest Halal Trade Fair and Malaysia's largest food and beverage expo. MIHAS 2008 was successful as shown by these statistics:
- Participation of 507 companies from 26 countries;
- 41,862 visitors from 69 countries;
- 5,328 Business Matching sessions conducted in 2 days between 1,027 MIHAS Exhibitors and International Buyers from 57 countries;
- RM2.2 billion (approx. Euro 470 million) in sales generated during 2 MIHAS special Business Matching session.
