The Embassy, MSD, JPS and MARA jointly organised an Aidilfitri Open house on 20 September at Malaysia Hall, Dublin. About 700 guests consisting of Malaysians, Malaysian students and locals attended the open house from 11.00 a.m 3.00 p.m.
The event started with solat sunat Aidilfitri followed by buffet at Malaysia Hall's lawn. Guests were treated to traditional Malaysian fares including nasi himpit, kuah kacang, sate, mee soto, ayam masak merah and teh tarik. Among the guests was YB Dato' Seri Nasir Ibrahim, Member of Parliament for Kuala Nerus who was in Dublin with his family for a private visit.
