National Famine Commemoration Day, 19 May 2024

Ambassador joined members of the Diplomatic Corp on May 19, in Edgeworthstown, Longford County to commemorate the National Famine Day. The Commemorative event was led by Taoiseach (PM) Simon Harris TD. May we learn from the past and never allow any human beings suffer from the great years of famine ever again. On this day, we also pray for our brothers and sisters in Palestine.
