UPDATES ON MALAYSIA TRAVEL ADVISORY:
14 DAYS MANDATORY QUARANTINE FOR TRAVELLERS FROM IRELAND
(Effective from 1 May 2021)
Pursuant to our travel notice as shared on 28 April 2021, please be advised of the following new updates on travel advisory to Malaysia:
- 14 Days Mandatory Quarantine for travellers from Ireland (applicable to both Malaysians and Non-Malaysians) – immediate effect
- Negative COVID-19 PCR Test (results must be valid for 72 hours prior to departure)
- Download and activate MySejahtera mobile application (https://mysejahtera.malaysia.gov.my/intro/)
- Malaysians no longer need to apply for Letter of Undertaking (LOU) and Travel Notice to travel to Malaysia
- Non-Malaysians must obtain the approval letter from MyEntry / MyTravelPass before travelling to Malaysia
- Other existing conditions for business travellers (Business Travellers) under the MIDA OSC are still in force
- COVID-19 test and mandatory quarantine costs should be borne by the travellers themselves. Please visit https://safetravel.myeg.com.my/ for this purpose.
