VISIT OF THE INTERNATIONAL STUDIES STUDENTS FROM XAVIER UNIVERSITY, CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, 9 FEBRUARY 2012

 

 

Whilst attending the 8^th Mindanao International Studies Society Convention on 9-12 February 2012 held in Davao City, the International Studies students from Xavier University, Cagayan de Oro City visited the Consulate General on 9 February 2012. During the visit, the 16-member delegation was given a briefing about the roles and functions of the Consulate General of Malaysia in Mindanao by the Consul General, followed by a question-and-answer session.

 

As part of its public diplomacy exercise, the briefing has been successful for the Consulate General in informing the students about its main roles and functions as well as the lead role that Malaysia plays in Mindanao’s peace process underscoring the good stead of bilateral relations between Malaysia and the Philippines.
