Chargé d’Affaires ad interim made a courtesy call on Mr. Anthon Cayano at the Embassy of the Philippines on 22 December 2025. The meeting provided an opportunity for both sides to exchange views on matters of mutual interest, including the welfare and protection of Malaysian and Philippine nationals in Iraq, the provision of consular assistance, as well as prospects for enhancing economic cooperation.
Deliberations also touched on the evolving situation in Iraq and explored avenues for continued engagement and coordination between the two Missions on issues of common concern.
