Consul General Mr. Azlimi Zakaria met a delegation comprising of six members from Guangxi Institute of Standards and Technology (GXIST) on 21 June 2022 at Chancery. The delegation was led by the Director of GXIST Ms. Cai Xuping.
During the meeting, the Consul General expressed his appreciation for GXIST’s briefing on its cooperation with Malaysia in the fields of standadization, certification and accreditation in the past years. He further shared Malaysia’s role in the regional and international standards organisations. And he encouraged GXIST to establish more vibrant cooperation with relevant agencies/organizations of Malaysia, such as Department of Standards Malaysia (DSM), Standards and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia (SIRIM) etc. and work together to advance quality of life for people from both sides.
