Embassy of Malaysia hosted a coffee morning session with Prof. K.S. Nathan  , Director, Institute of Malaysian & International Studies (IKMAS) National University of Malaysia (UKM) as guest speaker  The session which was held on 31st May 2012 provided an opportunity for Embassy’s staff and spouses to better comprehend Malaysia’s foreign policy in the realm of 1Malaysia concept and how the human resource management  in a multi-racial, and multi-religious society such as Malaysia has been  an effective  strategic advantage for enduring stability and strength since it gained  independence in 1957 .

The strength of ASEAN as an effective regional bloc could be well attributed to the conduct of its foreign relations within member states and world powers based on the idealism of moderation, mutual respect and tolerance, espousing the ASEAN’s unity in diversity..  Prof K.S Nathan was in Jordan attending the 8th WANA Forum as one of the key speakers. The Forum was officiated by HRH Prince Hassan.
