A GET TOGETHER RECEPTION WITH STUDENTS FROM SARAWAK AND DEPUTY SPEAKER DATUK DR WAN JUNAIDI TUANKU JAAFAR

A get together reception was held at the residence of the Ambassador of Malaysia to Jordan in Amman on June 2 which had given the opportunity for Malaysian students from Sarawak and members of the Sarawak Students Association in Jordan to met with the visiting Malaysian Deputy Speaker of Dewan Rakyat, YB Datuk Dr. Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar. Malaysian Ambassador Dato’ Abdul Malek bin Abdul Aziz, YB Deputy Speaker who is also MP Setubong and President of the Association spoke at the function. A dialogue session was then held between YB Deputy Speaker and the students on matters affecting the welfare of Sarawak students in Jordan. The students also performed few songs . Also present were Malaysian Students Department Director in Amman,  Tuan Hj. Sulaiman Ismail and other MSD’s officers and spouses.
