ASEAN Ambassadors of Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, Thailand and the Philippines called on Minister of Trade and Industry and Minister of Telecommunications and Information Technology, Dr Hatem Halawani ini his office on 9 May 2013.
The call was lead by Malaysian Ambassador to Jordan, H.E. Dato' Abdul Malek Abdul Aziz, Chairman of the ASEAN Committee in Amman. The two sides discussed means to enhance economic ties between Jordan and ASEAN especially in trade and investment. They also underlined the importance of drafting an action plan for enhancing trade exchange between Jordan and ASEAN countries.
