13 FEBRUARY 2009 - Barely a week in Amman, the new Ambassador-designate of Malaysia to Jordan and his wife, Dato? Abdul Malek Abdul Aziz and Datin Jamilah Talib hosted a dinner for all home based staffs (HBS) and their spouses of Embassy of Malaysia, Amman, Jordan on 13 February 2009.

Among those who were present were Ms Wong Chia Chiann, Head of Chancery of Embassy of Malaysia, Mr Sulaiman Ismail of the Malaysian Student Department, Mr Norhasmat Abdul Aziz of Public Service Department.
A karaoke session followed soon after the dinner. However, most of the HBS was dumb struck as they have just realise another talent of their new ambassador. Dato? Abdul Malek can sing really well! Of course later, the other officers found out that he was the Wisma Putra?s representative to a singing competition held between ministries in Malaysia. No wonder ?
The dinner was held in a warm surrounding ? establishing a closer rapports, not only between the officials of the Embassy of Malaysia, but also between the members of the PERWAKILAN.
