EMBASSY HOSTS A MEETING WITH MEMBERS OF MALAYSIAN STUDENTS COUNCIL IN JORDAN

Malaysian Embassy in Amman, Jordan organized a dialogue session with members of the Malaysian student leaders on 24 May 2013 at the Malaysia Residence. 50 Malaysian student leaders attended the session.  The student leaders are under the ambit of the Malaysian Students Council in Jordan representing over 17 affiliated students associations from various states in Malaysia and four main provinces-  Amman, Mafraq, Irbid and Karak  in Jordan.

 

Malaysian Ambassador Dato Abdul Malek bin Abdul Aziz led the dialogue session along with Dr Azidan Mohd Jabar, Education Malaysia Director touching on Malaysian current  government policies, security and welfare affecting Malaysian students who are currently pursuing various studies in Jordan. The students also held a dialogue session with a representative from the Ministry of Interior, Jordan on the state of security in Jordan. The dialogue session was welcomed by the Malaysian student leaders which has provided them with a platform that would certainly enhance greater understanding between the Embassy and Malaysian students in Jordan particularly on issues and concerns affecting them.
