The 2nd Inter-Agency Meeting was successfully held in Amman, Jordan on the 25th of February 2013. The meeting chaired by H.E. Ambassador Dato’ Abdul Malek Abd Aziz and attended by all Head of Agencies covering Jordan including MATRADE Jeddah headed by Mr. Amran Yem, MIDA Dubai headed by Mr. Sukri Abu Bakar, TOURISM Jeddah headed by Mr. Ahmad Yahaya Al-Jahsyi and other home based departments from Defense Attache office, Prime Ministers Department, Public Services Department, and Education Malaysia Jordan respectively.
The main purpose of the meeting is to coordinate and synergize all efforts include programmes and activities between all agencies. During the meeting, various issues have been discussed, covering all scopes of work which handled by all respective agencies/departments and to improve efforts in giving new impetus in bilateral cooperation between Malaysia and Jordan. The meeting has opened up fresh discussion on new ideas as well as planning ahead all activities that will convene throughout the year 2013. This meeting also served an opportunity for other agencies to arrange meetings and to follow up issues especially with private company’s directors and also government sectors in Jordan.
H.E Ambassador Dato’ Abdul Malek Abd Aziz hosted a dinner for all the Head of Agencies at the Malaysia Residence on the same day.
