Ambassador Dato’ Abdul Malek bin Abdul Aziz called on HE Prof. Dr Wajih M. Owais, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research , Jordan on June, 3 at the Minister’s office where they discussed means to enhance further cooperation in the field of education between Malaysia and Jordan. The existing level of cooperation has been excellent where both agreed to identify and embark on new areas of cooperation including the exchange of expertise in higher education beneficial to the two countries which are aspiring to become the hub of education in the region.
The Minister expressed his satisfaction on the overall academic performance of Malaysian students who are studying various courses in Jordan’s universities. Ambassador who was also accompanied at the meeting by Prof. Dr Mohd Azidan, Director of EMJ , Mr. Saifuddin Husin, Education Attaché , Mr. Mohd Harris Ali , First Secretary and Ms. Nur Nadiah Hidayat, Head of Chancery of the Embassy highlighted that Jordan is becoming a popular destination for Malaysians to further their studies overseas.
